After passing certain riding levels, you'll be able to have a job on Howrse.
In order for an Equestrian Center to have good prestige, they must hire Breeders for all 5 of the different jobs.
After completing the necessary level, you can go to the Jobs page (At Howrse: Profile>>My Job) to become a Groom, Riding Instructor etc. and accept a job at an EC.
Your job will be performed automatically once you've Accepted a contract at an EC. You will only be paid if you look after at least one of your horses. The salary for each job varies and some ECs offer raises after 10 days of working for the center. If the director of the centers wishes, they can extend your contract but you must go to the jobs page to accept it.
Grooms look after the horses at an Equestrian Center. They are responsible for the bedding in the boxes as well as keeping the boxes & meadows clean.
Grooms Salary Range: 40-100e
You can become a Groom after completing the 1st Riding Level.
Riding Instructors give lessons to horses at the EC.
Riding Instructor Salary Range: 50-110e
You can become a Riding Instructor after completing the 2nd Riding Level.
Vets look after the health of the horses in the Center. When a mare is due, the owner will have to call the Vet to deliver the foal.
Vet Salary Range: 60-120e
You can become a Vet after completing the 4th Riding Level.
Blacksmiths are in charge of shoeing the horses at the EC and they also make sure the shows do not wear out as fast as they would if the EC had no Blacksmith.
Blacksmith Salary Range: 70-130e
You can become a Blacksmtih after completing the 5th Riding Level.
